Privacy Policy

This privacy policy describes how Colour Detective mobile application ("App"), developed and operated by Ad Modern Tanitim Medya Organizasyon Ltd. Sti. ("Company"), handles user data. By using the App, you agree to this policy.

1. Data Collection

Colour Detective does not collect any personal data directly. The App:

• Does not request names, email addresses, phone numbers, or identity information
• Does not create user accounts
• Does not use its own analytics or tracking tools
• Does not send any data to its own servers or cloud services

However, the App uses third-party advertising services (see Section 5) which may collect certain data as described below.

2. Camera Usage

The App uses your device's camera for real-time color detection. Important information about camera access:

• The camera is used solely for live color preview and color capture
• No photos or videos are recorded, stored, or transmitted
• Camera data is processed only on-device in real time (temporarily in RAM)
• Camera data is automatically discarded immediately after analysis
• Camera access starts only when you grant permission

3. Photo Library Access

The App may request access to your photo library for the following purposes:

• Read access: To extract colors and create palettes from photos you select. Photos are processed locally on your device only and are never sent to any server.
• Write access: To save color palettes you create (only when you request it).

4. Local Storage

The App stores the following data only on your device (localStorage):

• Your saved color palettes and collections
• Captured color history
• Daily capture counter
• Onboarding (first use) preference

This data:

• Is never sent to any server or cloud service by the App
• Is never shared with third parties by the App
• Can be deleted via the in-app "Clear All Data" option or by uninstalling the App

5. Advertising & Third-Party Services

Colour Detective displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process certain data to serve relevant ads, including:

• Device identifiers: Advertising ID (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android)
• IP address: Used for approximate location-based ad targeting
• Device information: Device model, operating system version, screen size
• Ad interaction data: Whether ads were viewed, clicked, or completed

This data is collected and processed by Google according to Google's Privacy Policy. Colour Detective does not have access to or control over the personal data collected by AdMob.

AdMob data is transferred to Google Ireland Limited and/or Google LLC (USA) servers.

You can manage your ad preferences:

• iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking
• Android: Settings > Google > Ads

6. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal data from children. AdMob ads displayed in the App are configured to comply with applicable regulations. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the advertising service, please contact us.

7. Data Security

All app-generated data is stored in your device's local storage and is protected by your device's own security mechanisms (passcode, biometric lock, etc.). No app data is processed on any server. Advertising data is handled by Google under their security standards.

8. Changes

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the App. You can always find the most current version of this policy on this page.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Delete all locally stored data at any time from within the App
• Opt out of personalized advertising via your device settings
• Request information about your data by contacting us
